Course Overview

The University of Bolton’s MSc in Cloud and Network Security offers graduates with a background in networking, system administration or cloud computing the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of security and operations of computer systems. Course Modules

The MSc in Cloud and Network Security Programme awarded by University of Bolton consists of 5 Core Modules.

Entry Requirements

  1. Successfully completed an honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant sub¡ect and have appropriate work experience.
  2. The standard entry requirement for the course is BSc(Hons) in Computer Science related sub¡ects, usually with a first or upper second class classification. For applicants without a first or upper second, then a lower second degree will be considered on a case by case basis (particularly for candidates with good relevant industrial experience).

  3. An updated Curriculum Vitae (minimum of two years' work experience at graduate level in either a managerial or professional capacity; list job responsibilities for each role; two references - academic and professional)
  4. A Statement of Purpose
  5. Work experience letter.
  6. Academic reference letters from the institute where the prior qualification was obtained.
